Success Stories
We have four communities in Idaho that are recognized as Firewise Communities/USA. This is an indicator that a community has taken steps toward protecting their homes from wildfire.
The homeowners in the Wilderness Ranch community near Boise have been a Communities/USA member since 2002.
The Johnny Creek community in Pocatello became a member in 2004.
The Cave Bay community near Worley was awarded recognition in 2005.
The community of Conkling Park (also near Worley) was awarded recognition in 2006.
